Membership Conditions By clicking on the 'Accept' icon at the bottom of this page, you signify acceptance of the following conditions of membership: 1) You have never been found guilty of a serious imprisonable offence. 2) You have never used or been convicted for the use of illegal drugs. 3) You do not suffer from any medical or mental condition which could affect the safety of other users. 4) You agree to treat fellow members with courtesy under all circumstances. 5) You will be completely responsible for your own actions at all times. Although the service is currently available to UK users free of charge, we reserve the right to charge new users in the future. Existing users will be able to keep their account completely free of charge. Users may send a maximum of twenty messages per day. We do not tollerate any solicitation, defamation or obscenity using this web site, any cases reported will be dealt with accordingly.

Account Termination We reserve the right to terminate any account with extreme prejudice, without stating any reason, advice, notice or explaination. No user has the 'right' to use this system and once banned will not be allowed on the system in the future without the prior agreement of the site administrator. A user can terminate their account at any time by logging in to the system and selecting the 'Delete Your Advert' option from the main menu, or by sending email to webmaster@uk-personals.net stating the desire to close their account. Users who do not log in for 30 days may be sent an email reminding them of their membership. Accounts which remain idle for 60 days will be closed automatically.

Data Protection All information gathered during the sign-up procedure will be stored on a computer for the primary purpose of matching against other users' profiles as well as for selecting appropriate banner adverts based on your age, sex, location and whether you have children. We will also use statistics gathered from all users to provide aggregate figures for advertisers. You may at any point apply to see details of all information we hold on computer about you, with the option to change/correct/erase any information if required. Our Responsibilities This web site is run in order to allow members to contact other members who meet their requirements.
